A Kindred who has performed an act of special bravery and fortitude can sometimes be rewarded with a Knighthood. A knighthood is not given lightly, and is an especially high honour, elevating whomever receives it to the level of Gentry, and in fact a bit above that - those with knighthoods go before those who were born gentry (but knighthoods are not considered between peers)
Knights use the Style of Sir unless they have a higher title. A female Knight is called a Dame. These are rare and almost always notable figures.
