The prices on this page lists the prices of goods and serviceare all based on upper class expectations. ==== Outfit Sets ==== This section describes the average price of outfits and the value of a fitting jewellery set based on the social rank you wish to display. Gowns for special occasions may be more expensive, while simple outfits for activities might be cheaper. A set of jewellery consists of a combination of pieces from different categories. **Categories:** ---- Categories ---- The values listed here are the average values for pieces from that category as based on the social expectations of the upper class. Of course, jewellery can always be made more expensive. * Ring: £ 5 * Broche, amulets, medallions, medals, pendants, etc.: £ 10 * Cufflinks (as a pair): £ 10 * Earrings (as a pair): £ 20 * Bracelet: £ 30 * Fine Watch: £ 30 * Girdles: £ 30 * Necklace: £ 50 * Crown, diadems, circlets, etc.: £ 80 **Set Composition** ---- Set Composition ---- Jewellery sets are created by combining pieces from different categories as listed above. * Lower upper class, ladies' set: Earrings and Bracelet (£ 50 total); or only a Necklace (£ 50) * Middle upper class, ladies' set: Earrings, Bracelet, and Necklace (£ 100 total) * Upper upper class, ladies' set: Earrings, Bracelet, Necklace, and Diadem (£ 180 total) * Lower upper class, gents set: Ring, Broche, and Cufflinks (£ 25) * Middle upper class, gents set: Ring, Broche, Cufflinks, and Fine Watch (£ 55) * Upper upper class, gents set: Ring, Broche, Cufflinks, and Fine Watch (£ 55*) **Modifiers:**) Note that jewellery sets for ladies are expected to grow in quantity first, whereas sets for gentlemen are expected to improve in quality to match expected values. ---- Modifiers ---- These modifiers increase (or decrease, in special cases) the price of the piece, though the exact change in value is determined on a case-by-base basis. * Miniature: contains a cameo, or little portraits, medallion with drawing, etc. * Large gemstone: Any large gemstones not from the "precious set" (no Diamond, Amethyst, Sapphire, or Emerald) * Large precious gemstone: has large quantity of Diamond, Amethyst, Sapphire, or Emerald * Special material: very rare material, such as platinum, iridium, aluminium, green jade * Historical: was the property of a historical figure, made by a known artist, or otherwise significant * Fake: Uses coloured glass, gold-plated copper, or other fakery ==== Other Prices ==== **Bragging items:** ---- Bragging items ---- Bragging items are items used to as symbols of status and prestige. They cover both temporary fads such as Eau de Ange'fleur, and trophy items such as a fancy cane or a pedigree dog. Of course, certain items are much more expensive than the expected values listed here. * Temporary Fad: £ 25 * Trophy Item: £ 100+ ** ---- Tools & Weapons (Guns, Swords, hammers):**---- The prices listed for tools and weapons are based on the fact that these are functional, but high-quality tools and weapons. * Common Tools: £ 1-5 * Uncommon Tools: £ 10-400 * Melee Weapons: £ 1-10 * Firearms: £ 10-50 ** ---- Transportation Goods (Animals, Carriages, Boats, etc.):**---- The prices listed for transportation goods are based on quality goods. * Carriage (4-6 ppl): £ 250 * Small Carriage (2-3 ppl): £ 100 * Normal horse: £ 6 * Special horse: £ 15+ * Exotic animals: see Trophy Item * Pedigree dogs: see Trophy Item * Boats (not ships): £ 15-50 **Services (Doctor, Lawyer, Train tickets, Event tickets, Box subscription):** ---- Services ---- Services, tickets, and subscriptions are all based on the prices as paid by the upper class. This means that any ticket or subscription is for the service, access and import as can be expected for the upper class. * Lawyer: £ 10 per case * Good Lawyer: £ 15+ per case * Doctor: £ 1 per case * Train Tickets: £ 1-10 depending on destination, 1st class * Event Tickets: £ 1-10 per ticket * Box Subscription: £ 50-100 per year
