Differences on Fedor's Rule Proposals
==== Eat Food ====
Low-Light Vision
Impact: Flavour, Category: Physical, Valence: Merit
Your body is exceptionally good at digestion for a kindred. Through some way you've retained the ability to eat and drink, and occasionally to savour and enjoy food and drink.
System: You can process food and drink through digestion as if your humanity rating was 23 higher. Up to the normal limit of 10.
Storyteller Suggestions: The character can use this to cover the kindred weakness of usually being unable to consume any food or drink, and makes it easier for them to maintain the masquerade.
==== Charity is like reverse business ====
Concerns [[setting/Mary house of Respite]]. Question is how should a charity work rules wise, since it should drain some amount of money to keep up.
**Proposal** is to have it act as a negative business. To ubusiness with a set cost. The base cost of a charity 1 is 30 pounds. Use normal business rules, but half the profit of a business 1: roll 5 pounds x number of successes (DC 7), that is profit to counter the costs.
Average successes will be 2, so average cost will be 20 pounds. There is a small, 0.37% chance of 6 successes or more, at which point it is possible to make 0 loss or even a 5-10 pound profit on the charity. As the chance is so small, it is accepted as a month of extremely lucky fundraising.
XP cost is as a background 1 rating. The same construction can scale up as a charity 2, costing 60 pounds, bringing in 10 profit per success. Charity 3 costing 120 pounds, 20 profit per success. Charity 4 costing 210 pounds, 35 pounds x number of successes (DC 7), and the outcome is substracted, rather than added to the income.
The benefit of this specificper success. Charity 5 costing 300 pounds, 50 pounds per success. ((I do not intend to increase beyond charity is to be able to use it for rumours, so perhaps the background dot can be used as a bonus dice on certain checks to gather information? Or just to enable those rolls at all?1))
