The Arthurian system and the culture of the Dynasty of the Pendragons

There were two suns in the Arthurian system: They were true binary stars named Caliburn and Ron. Caliburn was a Red Giant, and Ron was a blue Giant that rotated around Caliburn. Both were believed to be roughly older than 7 billion years.

There were 8 planets in the Arthurian System: Alator, Belenus, Brigit, Cernunnos, New Avalon, Epona, Medb and Lugh.

Only 3 were hospitable to life.

Brigit was a desert planet where water was limited: It was here that most ships were created as it was the industrial planet. Brigit was the third planet from the two suns.

Cernunnos was capable of life, but it was a jungle planet: With giant jungle animals and flora that could and would eat a man.

The primary planet of this system was New Avalon.

With over 7 billion people New Avalon was a metropolis in the Galaxy. It was a place of beauty with crystal waters and green plush lands. The mountains tended to house crystals that the Avalonions used in their architecture, It was a place of beauty, invasion and culture.

The Red Plague outed the supernatural sending horrifying waves throughout the galaxy, its unknown how but instead of turning away from the supernaturals in fear, the Avalonian Royalty embraced them and turned them into the Knights of Pendragon.

The Knights of Pendragon were Diplomats and problem solvers, spies, intelligence, guardians and royal guards. But they were all welcome as long as they went through the program on one of the three moons that rotated around New Avalon and took their knights oaths.

The moons were Nimue, Merlin and Morgana. There was a citadel of crystal on each moon that was the ‘school’ for the supernatural. Those who were returned from the Thurza learned on Nimue, those who could bend the world to their will were taught on Merlin and those who required blood to survive were taught on Morgana.

While New Avalon was a feudal system, it did have a ruling body that encompassed the king and those who were knights of the round table. Normally, whoever was in charge of a supernatural group would sit at the table and help govern. There were 12 knights, 9 of which were voted in by the people. The king, or Queen being the 13th at the table would be the deciding vote should there be a tie.

They worshiped various pagan deities from the Ancient Celtic Pantheon, and followed the wheel of the year when it came to sabbats.

Lughnasadh was when the Queen took over and ‘Reigned’ during the dark half of the year. She would rule through the Winter Solstice, Imbolic and hand over the crown when the Spring Equinox came.

It was at the surface a Utopia, however those who know that light can not exist without darkness know that there was a darker world just below the surface. But many of the humans where unaware of it.
