Excalibur is capable of light speed travel, it also has a complement of shuttles. These transport craft include military gear for detecting emission from other spacecraft. It also has tracked ground vehicles. These are armed with an open turret on the roof and are landed by shuttles.

Excalibur has a large number of manually aimed laser batteries both for anti aircraft defense against fighters and engaging other capital ships.

Excalibur is protected by both Electronic shields and heavy metal double pocket hatch shields that covers its bridge viewport.

Excalibur has the ability to project a broad cone of energy wide enough to cover much of one hemisphere of a earth sized planet, its powerful enough to destroy ballistic missiles and their nuclear warheads.

A Lugh Class ship like the Excalibur has two sources of energy. The engines are powered by Tylium, a highly volatile liquid fuel derived from minerals and crystals mined on a limited number of planets, but mostly Avalon.

The Tylium is stored in two tanks located as far inboard as possible. since the detonation of either tank is sufficient to destroy the entire ship.

The other energy needs are met by energizers which are self contained generators roughly the size of a human adult. These are located across the Excalibur, networked to each other. They are able to supply sufficient power to meet the ships needs even if some of them should fail.

EXCALIBUR:

The Excalibur was a flag ship of the Avalonia Empire, and capable of housing 5000 passengers. Unfortunately due to the emergency evacuations and the space battle that happened while during evacuation the ship was only able to take on 3468 passengers and crew. They are currently functioning at a 20% deficit, while not a ghost town the missing crew can be felt. Especially in tensions and rotations.

There are 938 crew members, 115 officers, 400 warriors (with 180 pilots among them) 15 Pendragon Knights and 2000 Civilians in Cryo. The civilians will not be woken up without being able to help the current situation.

The ship hosts a Atrium at the top, Lounge, Gym/Aquatics center among the normal features of such a ship.
