Background

Nate is a true product of Paradise City; alcoholic parents, bad neighborhood, poor schools, poverty… he was born in Mid-Paradi and has never been any higher than that. He’s always had a chip on his shoulder as well as a quick temper, regularly getting into fights through his youth, and he dropped out of school at fourteen. His First Change was highly traumatic and he doesn’t speak of it; it was during that event that his right eye was lost and he gained the scars which even regenerating couldn’t heal. At the newest member of the pack, Nate chafes under the rule of an alpha, even as he instinctively falls in with the others. War-Heart’s nature is to be aggressive and challenging, however, and Shackles encourages this. One day, he sees the young uratha being a strong alpha himself.

Description

Nate’s in his early 20’s and powerfully built; he dresses simply, favoring a white wife beater and black cargo pants with steel-toed boots though when going into battle he often dons a thick leather jacket as well. His body is packed with hard muscle, and like many werewolves, there’s little body fat on him. He keeps his hair military short and his right eye is milky with cataracts from an old injury. The same side of his face is likewise scarred as if he was mauled by an animal at one point in his life.

Storytelling Hints

You’re standoffish and aggressive; it’s your nature to challenge the status quo and you’re not very welcoming of new people. You have a hard time with change, even when it would be beneficial, and still maintain ties with an abusive parent even though it’d be best to leave them behind. You can be self-indulgent, and by your way of thinking, you’ve earned a few simple pleasures.
