Kaitlyn, Mercedes on the street (she’s a ‘smooth ride’), is the proverbial hooker with a decent heart. Kaitlyn originally went to school to be a paramedic but lost her job when she refuted a superior’s sexual advances.

Blacklisted in the field, broke, and with a kid sister to watch, she started selling herself to make ends meet. She knows who’s up to what, who’s selling what, and who’s got beef with who.

She’s a capable medic and a good person to go to for an emergency midnight surgery that’s not going to get reported to the cops. She’s willing to give the pack information in exchange for protection on the streets.

After one or two violent killings chalked up to ‘victims of the streets’, most the local hoods know to leave Mercedes in peace. Slow learners get a visit from a pair of pissed off Blood Talons then a final ride in Koert’s garbage truck. The pack has also intervened to keep child services from taking her sister away via Peter’s law firm. Morally right? Probably not. Beneficial to the hunt? Yes.
