He is the current ruler of the Mer Kingdom and a direct descendant of Tiburon I who was able to unite the multiple tribes and villages into one entity, a kingdom that survives to this day. He has one son, Prince Mako (pictured with him), being his heir, and two daughters, Ariel R'lyoh and Airelin R'lyoh. His current goal is to get the merfolk out of their isolationist state and be more accepting of outsiders, especially the land dwellers, whom he feels that they should trade with.
