Qzia, also known as the Deep, is a strong dwarf who is said to have dug his way to the centre of the world at which time he became a God. He is said to have created the runic letters and to grant eternal good luck to miners and dwarves all over the world. He is the adopted son of Wsaryi.

The tales say that the Deep puts minerals and metals in the ground and takes them away in the same manner. For this reason most mines have a shrine devoted to him.

The Priests of the Deep often live in caves and deep mines, staying under ground most of their lives. A special cast of their priests, known as Deeps Dark, are born underground and never exit the depths, never seeing the light of the sun.

The Deep is worshiped by dwarves and miners, as well as by blacksmiths, who rely on his gifts for their craft.
