Pontifex Pious is the current [[Pontifex]] for [[Ecclesia]] and the head of state of the nation of [[Eccles]]. He is said to be a quiet man speaking little and listening a lot, and his words - always in Sanctis as is the custom for the Pontifex - are always kind. Despite his age, the Pontifex regularly ventures outside the Pontifical complex and has been known to personally hand alms to the poor, tend to the sick and administer to the faithful.
