Differences on Ecclesic Characters
Ecclesic Characters are the writing system used in [[South Ecclisic]], [[North Ecclisic]] and some characters are identical or very similar in [[Sanctis]] as well.
The system of writing that does not use individual letters, but which instead has characters for most words, with combined characters sometimes being used. In total, some 15.000 characters are known, though some have been lost to time and are no longer used.
Because Ecclesic Characters represent idea's and these idea's are identical between languages, it is possible for one who speaks one language to read Ecclesic Characters from another language. This is not without difficulty, as various words are expressed by characters for similar or identically pronounced words instead of their own character (as few people know all 15.000 characters from memory). For this reason, a Speak LanguageLinguistics check is required when reading texts that were written in a different Ecclesic Characters script language.
