Inside, the living room centers around a broad hearth where meals can be cooked, its warmth spreading across the space. Off to one side stands a large wooden table, ready to seat guests for hearty dinners. Two separate bedrooms can be found down a short hall, each furnished with a comfortable bed and a cabinet for clothes—more luxury than Ven ever knew in the pits. Beneath the main floor lies a cellar, cool and dry, ideal for storing supplies. Outside, a small garden offers a patch of green and the chance to grow herbs or vegetables, a simple but welcome touch of peace and stability in her new life.
