Count Edmund Sterker was a battle hardened warrior, who served King Reginald loyally during the Voran Civil War. He was rewarded with command of the Royal Guard and is often sent out to deal with problems by the King. One such being Ecclesians operating on the South Voran side of the river.

As his daughter had left him for Ecclesia, his hatred for the religion was especially strong, leading him to foolishly ally with dark forces, which caused his eventual demise as he tried to take over the city.
