Novus Utum uses the Pathfinder (1.0) game system. Specifically we use the following books, except as indicated by our houserules: * Core Rulebook * Section on other planes of existence is NOT used * We will use the Monk Unchained from Pathfinder Unchained * Advanced Player Guide * Hero Point rules are NOT used * Advanced Classes Guide * Custom Class design rules are NOT used * All gunpowder related items and options are NOT used * Arcanist Archetype Blade Adapt is NOT used * Style feats are NOT used as we use the Monk Unchained instead * Psionics Unleashed * Races are NOT used * Thrallherd is not allowed * Pathfinder Unchained * This book is NOT generally allowed except the following: * Monk Unchained is used instead of regular monk * Hold Breath Rogue Talent is allowed All characters start at level 6, have 30 points to buy ability scores and get 2 Traits. Characters are subject to adventure restrictions by level (no high-level characters on low-level adventures) We have our own cultures, languages and religions which affect cleric and paladin characters among others.
