Novus Utum uses the Pathfinder (1.0) game system. Specifically we use the following books, except as indicated by our houserules:

• Core Rulebook
• Advanced Player Guide
• Psionics Unleashed (Except races)

All characters start at level 6 and have 30 points to buy ability scores. We do not use the optional rules for Hero Points. Characters are subject to special restrictions by level.

We have our own cultures, languages and religions which affect cleric and paladin characters among others.
