Bookkeeping
You are responsible for all bookkeeping and paperwork related to the following:
- Druid Elders
Weather
You are responsible for managing the weather in the area around Duirt.
Once a month, you post a weather report on the forum, reporting on the general trends of the weather, such as temperature, precipitation, winds, fog, etc.
The report should also include a short reference to the seasonal activities such as planting of crops, harvesting, snowball fights, etc.
If you inform the DM team during the DM meeting beforehand, you may additionally post rules that apply to PCs going out into the wilderness, within the guidelines of the Core Rulebook, such as the rules for cold or hot environments. They will apply for that month to all PCs and adventures.
Druidic rituals
You are responsible for managing religious ceremonies for the druids.
Four times a year, around the Solstices and Equinoxes, you should run a scene in which the druids perform a ritual. Players of druids should be able to participate, letting them perhaps say a blessing or the likes.
Players who want to get married or who have had children may come to you to perform blessings or to preside over their marriage. You run scenes to make this happen, involving one or more of the Druidic Elders giving their blessing
Fey
You are responsible for managing the fey creatures living in the Old Forest, including Dryads, Sprites, Treants, etc. You should give an occasional glimpse of their existence, either by using them directly or showing traces of them in your adventures.
When PCs have had a positive encounter with the Fey in which they do something to serve the purposes of the Fey or protect the Forest, you may have a Fey grant them a Fey Token. This is a token of gratitude granted by the Fey to those who did well. It is not transferable, and cannot be sold or traded.
You should track how many Fey Tokens PCs have gathered. Link: Fey Token Listing
When a PC gathers four Fey Tokens, they become Friend of the Fey. Being a Friend of the Fey gives a +4 Diplomacy bonus when dealing with Fey.
In addition, a Friend of the Fey can set up a special Player House known as a Grove, an area of nature that is theirs - this can take the form of a small hut in the Old Forest, a cave near the shore, a clearing in the forest, etc.
The player provides a description for approval and the DM team may grant it. This location provides 2 Lifestyle Points, which do not stack with Lifestyle Points granted by Player Housing. However, no investment is required.
