Bookkeeping

You are responsible for all bookkeeping and paperwork related to the following:

Ivory Tower Student Roster

Players can come to you to register as a Student at the Ivory Tower. To be a student, they need to be Voran.

You must maintain a list of the Ivory Tower Students on the Wiki and make sure the PCs are marked as such on their sheet. Students must gather "Study Points" to graduate and become alumni (which gives special privileges), and you track the Study Points for each student.

PCs who are students get access to free housing on Grand Square, which the Ivory Tower rents from House Ferency. This gives them 1 Lifestyle Point as if they had a Small House.

Additionally, Voran Wizards who are students at the Ivory Tower gain free access to copy spells of level 0, 1 and 2 arcane spells from the Core Rulebook to their spellbook (they still pay to scribe, but don't have to buy scrolls or find other wizards willing to let them copy).

Magical Lessons

Once a month, you should run a “Lesson” story, in which one of the Ivory Tower teachers organizes a lesson for students of the Tower. This lesson should take the shape of an adventure or challenge of some sort for the PCs to overcome, and should offer regular adventure rewards.

If any of the PCs who completes a lesson story is a Student, they earn 2 Study Points.

Ivory Tower Alumni

Once a PC has gathered 10 or more Study Points, they graduate and become Alumni. Alumni get all the benefits that regular students do.

If they are wizards, they also gain access to all arcane spells from the Core Rulebook for addition to their spellbook. They still need to pay to scribe, but do not need to buy scrolls or find other wizards willing to let them copy.
