Songs sang and whispered buzzed, Was it murder or self defense?

Bards along the city in every tavern or place such is played sing the sad song of a fallen kraken. How the tale is told differs per performer, but the Jist of it is, while investigating a slain man and possible necromancy, that Vanessa Kraken was bewitched and Hexed several people and one Haley Corten Saw fit to fire several arrows into the poor woman's flesh, as well as commanding her Wolf to attack as well. Some go into gorey detail other gloss over, but they all declare that it happened in mere seconds.

Whispers among the nobility speak of how unnecessary the retaliation was. Some even ask how badly she was hexed, some try to say it was some other spell. But more than any, spread word that the Hex while resistant, was non lethal.

Whispers spread from among the commoners all the way to the tittering tea sipping ladies thinking these scandalous rumors, all claiming that Haley slew Vanessa because of some lovers spat, that she feared her trying to cuckold her husband from her.

Hearing tales in the taverns sung by various bards, Bowmore can be heard verifying some of what's sang anyway, he agrees that there was some hex going on that devided the party and that friendly fire is indeed what caused the demise of the Kraken woman. However the succubus was dealt with, and the head given as proof of the bewitchery, as well as the body returned to the Kraken family for proper burials or resurrections. He states that he had no hand in any of the friendly fire, and by the time Vanessa's body hit the floor, he and a few other's were already on their way up to deal with the Demon.

(( +XP to be handed to Bowmore and Gordan ))
