Since the SRR has been ..... rather reluctant to help ....... it is rumoured that Ambassador Aquana was gone, on her own, to the Merkingdom to plead Duirt's case and maybe obtain an army of merfolk to beat the blockade.

However, time is fast running out, and even if they left now, it would be unclear if they would make it to Duirt before the situation becomes desperate.
