A Mission from the Church (Looking to form Group)

No tags

Word spreads in the West Quarter that the Church of Eccles has made a call for skilled heroes to aid in a quest: the recovery of the remains of Saint Valeria.

Those pure in faith and willing to take up this dangerous mission should visit the Cathedral to hear the details of the quest and decide if they are willing to take up the burden.

This is a call to look for players to be involved in the mission. It will consist of a number of connected adventures, quests and scenes, the exact schedule to be determined together with the players involved, but will likely default to every other week on Fridays at my normal adventure time (21:00 Central European Summer Time).

In total, it should be somewhere between six and eight sessions thereabouts, plus a few quests in between sessions. Most of these will not be bubbled, though a few may be. It offers a chance to advance within the church and faith as well.

Due to the nature of this storyline and the intended course, I'm putting some restrictions on who can join the mission. The primary and secondary examples I list below are NOT a list of requirements, but rather should give a rough idea of the type of character I'm looking for.

Primary Example:

  • Faithful follower of Ecclesia (including cults)
  • Paladin / Cleric / Inquisitor etc of Ecclesia
  • Lawful Good

Secondary Example:

  • Holidays-only follower of Ecclesia open to growing their faith
  • Non-Ecclesian serious about conversion
  • Neutral Good, Chaotic Good or Lawful Neutral
  • Previously proven themselves aiding the Church
  • Sponsored by another joining PC who will vouch for you ICly - especially one that meets the primary criteria

If you believe you would be a good fit, even if you don't meet the criteria above, be sure to reach out and we'll see what can be done. Note however that while I will try to work with you, I reserve the right to exclude characters I believe will be a bad fit for the story.
