A Brewing Storm

No tags

Several reports indicate that a massive storm is forming a few days off the coast of Duirt. Ships that have attempted to sail through this storm have not come out. Storm Watchers speculate that the storm will only gain in power as it gets closer to the city. It not being the season for such storms, no one is quite sure why the storm has formed.

Perhaps because of said storm, or perhaps from unrelated things...the elements of wind and water are acting very chaotic. Spells involving water and wind are completely unpredictable currently

(( Spells with the Air or Water descriptor have a 50% to backfire on the caster, 1-50 works normally, 51-100 backfires and deals 1d6 damage/spell level to the caster until this event is resolved ))

(( Roll Knowledge Nature or Knowledge Arcane for more info ))

With the recent events of the other natural elements fresh in her mind, and the constant awareness that the other two shrines are definitely at risk, Samantha is, like her father, also looking into this matter, to determine if this is an effort at rebalancing from nature for lack of poor weather this recent season, or if this is something unnatural influencing the conditions.

Roll:
Samantha (Knowledge (Nature)): 21 = 1d20 [11] + 10
