Leigh plays with the Great White Squirrel.

With a big grin on his face Leigh had found a pumpkin of enormous size. Taking it home he didn't even tell his family of his plans. Them being his family somehow knew not to ask but smiled and shook their heads. He took his time hollowing out all of the great pumpkin innards. Saving the seeds. Once that mess was all done he put the top back on and skipped to the farms to find all the best apples. Taking hours and going back and forth between the farms to find them.

After he collected enough apples he then happily traipsed back to town and headed for the market. He bought some apple and cinnamon spices and some caramel. Even more joyfully he carried his prizes back home. Mixing the spices with the pumpkin seeds he set them to roasting over the fire as he worked. Painting the great pumpkin red like the biggest apple the world had ever seen. Once the seeds were done he placed them in a small bag melted the caramel over the fire. Filled the Great Apple with the pile of the most perfect apples. But on top he left the small bag of flavored pumpkin sees and the glazed caramel apple.

With the happiest widest Cheshire smile he put the top of the Great Pumpkin back on and stowed it away magically. He was skipping towards his goal. The tallest manmade building in the city. Maybe the clocktower maybe the ivory tower and he climbed to the very top. Letting the shadows swallow him so he wasn't seen as he placed it so that everyone all around could see the Great Apple from the ground, thanks to the city lights with that alone attesting to it's size. Then he scampered off hoping he was giving Fidessa her best fall festival gifts ever. Laughing his musical laugh in the darkness as he went and wondering would her belief and love of such games and food be strong enough to perhaps create or change a small spirit to become an apple spirit? Perhaps someone like Johnny Appleseed? He hoped so, more apples for her to chase and enjoy.

With literal screeching, the girl came to a halt mid run, slipping over a few roof shingles before coming to a stop on top of an awning. The girl in white shook her head and took a double take, looking suspiciously at the clocktower to make sure.

"That's the second biggest apple I ever saw" she concluded. Whether she had actually seen a bigger one or was just making it up as it was something people said remained entirely unclear. Most of what she said was somewhat unclear in its meaning so that fit right in.

Regardless, the girl disregarded her other plans and headed for the tower post haste to see what was going on with the big apple. She was reasonably sure there hadn't been any apple trees that could have dropped it there, though perhaps towers themselves had gained the ability to grow apples. It would hardly be the strangest thing that had happened in the city this year.

Upon reaching the tower, she climbed up to get to the apple and investigate it. "Best day ever!" she had already decided
