As interesting as the cave with the ghost was. It was still bothering Askaari about the siege, the horde, and the Doges blackmailing the council to take the areas in the city as well as the woods. So the nobleman who had recently started making contacts in the under ground with his brilliant disguise as Biggis Dikkis started to dig for some facts, and rumors that could lead to more facts. He of course would be letting his wife know what he found. Rani as well since she had shown interest. Others maybe further on once he found people equally interested but not spies.

Rani was looking for an excuse to go back to the SRR to see if she can get some information there, as well as poking into the story of House Kraken ... but not involving the Atianna - just to be on the safe side.

She also offers her diplomatic skills to Askaari if he should need them.

"Biggis Dikkis? Yeah .. I suppose that would work".

He still searches for the information that will lead to the Dodgey Doges' collusion with the Horde and it's true leader, who or what ever that is.

he continues to look for evidence. It can't all have been done away with...would it?

Rani has been discretely talking to the record keepers of the SRR houses (except Atianna and Kraken) in order to find out more about the political climate in the SRR, which Houses are supporting the Doge, especially financially, as well as history on House Kraken as she is suspicious on their involvement with the Doge. She is also looking into the political history of the Doge - does he belong to a Noble House? - if so - which one?

He is still investigating the situation.
