In Dormedon and all of the other cities around it, the primary currency is the Dormedonian Kroner. Originally used in Dormedon, the currency saw its use in nearby cities increase due to the large volumes of trade.
There are four common coins are in circulation:
- Copper, a triangular copper coin, valued at 1dk
- Gold, a circular golden coin, valued at 24dk
- Silver, an irregular octagon, valued at 500dk
- Mithril, a large crescent, valued at 20000dk
Several cities have issued coins of other denominations, but they all adhere to the above valuation for the four common coins.
In both formal documents and colloquial use, the value of things is expressed directly in dormedonian kroner, instead of in a specific amount of coins.
