Upon casting this spell, you target a living creature with inscriptions that has –1 or fewer hit points, directing some of your energy into that ally. If the target has any available energy channels, they automatically commit one energy channel. If they do not, you must commit an energy channel instead.
The target is automatically stabilized and does not lose any further hit points. They remain stable even if they take more damage later, so long as the channel remains committed, though they still die if their hit points become too low.
If the creature later takes damage, it continues dying normallytarget has a recovery buffer, they additionally gains 1 hit point in their recovery buffer.
