Differences between by and the current version
Outfit and equipment proposals for Svala that have not yet been approved ==== Outside the CitySvala's Riding Outfit (Approved and purchased, not yet retrieved from merchant, not yet paid for) ==== Bought during the shopping TripSvala's riding outfit consists of a black leather over-bust corset worn over a free flowing knee length dress with Aniceshort sleeves and tall boots, combined with slender riding gloves and bracers. The corset is made of reinforced black leather, curving tightly over her narrow waistline. Lacking in Dormedonsize to fill a proper overbust corset, the chest part of the corset is mostly smooth, with two wide shoulder straps and an extra reinforced plate covering where cleavage would be on a more well-endowed woman. The lining of the corset consist of alchemically hardened bone and the corset has some extra padding on the inside to absorb shocks, such as getting kicked by a Thilfari. The lacing is supported by a boned modesty panel sewn on the inside. Rather than protecting the wearers modesty - as the corset is designed to wear over top of a dress - it protects the wearers spine in case of a fall. The dress worn under the corset is made out of the same black leather, tailored to perfectly follow Svala's curves, with thin lacing along the back. Unlike the corset, the dress does not feature any reinforcements, though the leather is sturdy enough to prevent most scrapes. It features a high neckline running smoothly over halfway up the neck, allowing it to peek out from under the corset despite the latter's extra chest cover. The sleeves of the dress are short, just above midway down the upper arm, with a leather strap at the end of the triceps going around the arm to secure it to, for example, an extra pair of sleeves. It features some extra material where the sleeve attaches to the bodice to allow for more freedom of movement than it might suggest. At the hips, the skirt of the dress flares out with a box pleat running down to just above Svala's knees, allowing it to slide easily out of the way when siding astride a Thilfari or when performing any acrobatics. Due to the weight of the leather, there is little risk of the skirt getting caught by the wind or otherwise causing any embarrassing moments. Even so, Svala wears black tights underneath, made of a stretchy, leather-like material. Under the dress, a pair of reinforced boots are worn with a decently high if sturdy heel, supposedly to make riding with stirrups easier, but in reality more as a fashion statement and to give the wearer some additional height. The boots are the same colour as the rest of the outfit, but made out of thicker and somewhat stiffer leather, doubling as greaves and offering extra padding and leg protection. They are secured in the back with several straps to pull tight around the foot and leg. The reinforcements of the boots notably lack on the inside of the leg to prevent from causing discomfort for the Thilfari when riding, while the outside has several attachments point to help strap the wearer into a Thilfari saddle securely. The inside of the boots is lined with fur, but this is covered with the same leather-like material as the tights, keeping the legs warm while riding and saving a lot on time to keep the inside clean. With the outfit come a pair of elegant and slender leather gloves to match the tights and inside of the boots, expertly made to follow the lines of the hand, and running up the arm, disappearing into the sleeves and secured by the straps at the end of the arms. While each glove is thin and offers very limited protection and warmth, a pair of reinforced bracers is worn over top to protect the lower arm. Each bracers is made of similar leather as the boots and includes the same padding of covered fur. The bracers wrap around the entire arm and extend from the tip of the elbow to the wrist, extending slightly beyond on the distal side. Like the boots they are secured with straps, in this case at the wrist and near the elbow on the inside of the arm. // Total weight: 15 lbs (( Same as Leather Armour )) // // Price: 480 dk (( 4x Leather Armour )) // // Doubles as Leather Armour // ==== Purchased, Final Approval Check ==== ---- Dormedonian SkirtWilderness Thilfari Saddle (600 dk, 40 lbs) ---- This skirt// Final approval check // A well-made, black leather Thilfari saddle designed to carry a single rider, with extra straps to secure the legs and make it easier to stay in the saddle.
