As a Psychic, Svala receives a Phrenic Amplification. This is a proposal for a different ability on the list.
Retain Power (Su): When casting a spelBy spending 1 point from her phrenic pool, the psychic can spend 1 point fromretain some of her Phrenic Pool to retain some ofpower as charge. Doing so causes her power, cycling it through her inscriptions instead of letting it go. Doing so causes her one pointa number of points of non-lethal damage equal to linked spell's level. When charged the psychic can release the charge as a standard action, dealing 1d6 damage per linked spell's level to every creature and object within 5 feet, except the psychic herself, with a Reflex save for half damage. Non-lethal damage from this ability canThe DC of the saving throw is calculated using the linked spell't be reduced or redirected. The Psychic cannot use this ability is level. If she cannot take non-lethal damage and cannot use it if it would reduce her to 0 hp or less.
If she does, she gains one point of charge, which lights up her inscriptions and may occasionally cause crackles ofdoes not discharge, the energy to rundissipates over her skin, increasing in power and frequency if charge is built up over multiple uses.
As a standard action, the Psychic can release one point of charge, dealing 1d6 damage plus 1d6 for every two levels of Psychictime, fully dissipating after the first to every person and object within 5 feet, except the Psychic herself.
If she does not discharge, the energy dissipates over time, reducing the charge by one point peran hour.
While charged, the Psychic cannot heal the non-lethal damage taken from this power or regain points used in her Phrenic Pool - she needs to discharge the energy first before being able to rest.
