The Shoko family are a daimyo in the prefecture of, and loyal to the Omitsu family. Shoko was born the fourth daughter of her father the daiymo. In service to the Omitsu family, she was sent to travel and tend to Kasumi several years ago and has not wavered from her side since.

Yuki is always looking on the bright side, and brings an optimistic cheer to campfires that can sometimes get annoying for Kasumi.

Kasumi once spent a month adjucating between the Shoko family and their rivals the Nao, on behalf of her uncle. Settling a dispute over a mine and celebrating a festival with a marriage between the two houses, preventing Yuki's father from getting into expensive conflicts.
