Class Features
All of the following are class features of the Geisha gestalt prestige class.
Weapon and Armour Proficiency
Geisha's gain proficiency with all fans and warfans if they did not have that already. They gain no armour proficiencies.
Continued Ki Pool
Similar to how some classes continue to advance their spellcasting ability each level, Geisha's continue to advance their ki pool. Add your Geisha level to your base class level to determine the number of points in your ki pool. Additionally, you add your Geisha level as your effective level for any ki powers you have already acquired that grow by level. You do not gain any new ki powers you would have gained if you had continued to advance in your base class.
For example a level 6 monk / level 2 geisha would get 4 points of ki from her levels (monk + geisha / 2). Her unarmed attacks would be treated as cold iron and silver for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction (advancement of base Ki pool ability), but she would not gain the Wholeness of Body ability (as this is a new ability gained at Monk 7).
Ki Grace
A Geisha adds her charisma bonus (if any) to her ki pool. If she already adds her charisma to her ki pool from another source, she instead gains 2 points of ki.
Kanpekina Isho (Perfect Outfit)
A Geisha can spends at least one full hour selecting and putting on the perfect outfit for whatever occasion or circumstance she plans to engage in, such as a ball, or a trek through the desert.
When dressed in this manner, the Geisha gains a +2 bonus on all Charisma based skill checks. This bonus lasts as long as the occasion or circumstance lasts, or until she changes.
By spending two additional hours, the Geisha can prepare a second outfit ahead of time, sharing certain items between both outfits while hiding others underneath the first layer. By spending one point of Ki, the Geisha can then change into the second outfit as a full round action to gain the same bonus despite the changed circumstance.
For example, the Geisha could hide an all black outfit underneath her gown, using the gown to gain the bonus during a palace ball and then changing into the black outfit when she slips away from the ball to sneak into the palace safe.
Okobo Tsuriai (Okobo Balance)
Starting at 2nd level, a Geisha's sense of balance improves significantly. As long as she has at least 1 point of Ki in her ki pool, she can wear impractical footwear without incurring any penalties to movement.
Additionally, she can spend one point of Ki to automatically succeed at an Acrobatics check related to balancing.
Uncanny Dodge
At 2nd level, a Geisha cannot be caught flat-footed, even if the attacker is invisible. She still loses her Dexterity bonus to AC if immobilized. A Geisha with this ability can still lose her Dexterity bonus to AC if an opponent successfully uses the feint action against him.
If a Geisha already has uncanny dodge from a different class, she automatically gains improved uncanny dodge instead.
Kesho (Makeup)
Starting at 3rd level, a Geisha can spend at least one hour doing elaborate makeup, often involving painting her face and skin white. Once completed, the Geisha has the appearance of a generic "kept woman" for a specific location or group. For example, she could impersonate a lady-in-waiting in a royal palace, a prostitute by an army camp or a succubus in a demonic stronghold, allowing her relatively free roam of such places, though she would not be allowed access to places like vaults or war rooms where such a woman would not normally be allowed to go. As long as she acts in accordance with her role, she automatically succeeds at any Disguise checks made to avoid being recognized.
When disguising herself in this manner, the Geisha can spend two points of Ki, to alter her race to fit with her disguise as if using the Alter Self spell, with a duration of 1 hour per Geisha level. Following the spell, this negates all penalties from disguising as a different race or size category (within the limits of Alter Self) and applies a +10 bonus to any Disguise checks necessary.
Poison Use
From 3rd level, Geisha's are able to use poison safely and cannot accidentally poison themselves when applying poison to a blade (see Poison).
Additionally, when the Geisha successfully applies poison to a target, she can raise the potency of the posion using Ki, increasing the DC to resist the poison by 1 per point of Ki spent. The Geisha can raise the DC by no more than half her Geisha level.
Ki Skill
At 4th level, the Geisha can spend one point of Ki to gain a +3 bonus to a single Strength or Dexterity based skill check. This bonus increases to +5 if her Kanpekina Isho is active.
At 8th level, the bonus increases to +6, and +8 if her Kanpekina Isho is active.
Evasion
At 4th level, a geisha gains evasion. If exposed to any effect that normally allows her to attempt a Reflex saving throw for half damage, she takes no damage with a successful saving throw. The evasion ability can only be used if the Geisha is wearing light armor or no armor.
Shimada (Hairstyle)
Starting at 5th level, a Geisha can spend at least one hour doing her hair, preparing it in an elaborate style conforming to current fashions. When prepared in this manner, the Geisha can hide a light weapon or similar item in her hair, gaining a +2 bonus on the Sleight of Hand check as if it were heavy or baggy clothing.
Additionally, the Geisha can hide larger items in her hair by spending Ki. She must spend one point of Ki for each one-handed weapon or similar sized item and two points of Ki for any two-handed weapon. Weapons hidden in this manner are stored extra-dimensionally and thus cannot be found using non-magical means.
The Geisha may draw one item hidden in her hair as a free action, or she can spend a standard action to distribute all items hidden in her hair amongst those nearby.
Hide in Plain Sight
At 5th level, the Geisha can use the Stealth skill even while being observed. As long as she is within 10 feet of an area of dim light, a Geisha can hide herself from view in the open without anything to actually hide behind. She cannot, however, hide in her own shadow.
If the Geisha uses her Hide in Plain Sight ability while being chased by someone with romantic interests in her - whether reciprocated or not - she loses a piece of clothing when activating this ability, often a shoe or a glove. Magic items are never lost in this manner.
Mie Kanpeki (Threefold Perfection)
At 6th level, the Geisha can add a third outfit as part of her Kanpekina Isho, requiring an additional two hours of preparation time.
Additionally, the Geisha can now use her Kesho as a second (or third) outfit as part of her Kanpekina Isho power. The preparation time for Kesho must still be spent.
Improved Uncanny Dodge
A geisha of 6th level or higher can no longer be flanked.
This defense denies the ability to sneak attack the geisha by flanking her, unless the attacker has at least four more rogue levels than the target has Geisha levels.
If a character already has uncanny dodge (see above) from another class, the levels from the classes that grant uncanny dodge stack to determine the minimum rogue level required to flank the character.
Keisei Kowaku (Courtesan's Charm)
Starting at 7th level, a Geisha can increase her allure significantly. As a full round action, the Geisha can spend one point of Ki to draw the attention of individuals within 100 ft who is looking at her. The targets get a Will save against DC 10 + her Geisha class level + the Geisha's Charisma modifier. If they fail, they become Fascinated. The Geisha can keep the effect going round by round but must continue to take full round actions to maintain the effect, which prevents her from doing anything else. Continuing the effect in this manner does not require additional Ki spent.
A fascinated creature stands or sits quietly, taking no actions other than to pay attention to the fascinating effect, for as long as the effect lasts. It takes a –4 penalty on skill checks made as reactions, such as Perception checks. Any potential threat, such as a hostile creature approaching, allows the fascinated creature a new saving throw against the fascinating effect. Any obvious threat, such as someone drawing a weapon, casting a spell, or aiming a ranged weapon at the fascinated creature, automatically breaks the effect. A fascinated creature's ally may shake it free of the spell as a standard action.
Fast Mobility
At 7th level, the Geisha gains the ability to use the Fast Stealth, Ledge Walker, Rogue Crawl and Stand Up rogue talent. Each (round of) use of the ability costs one point of Ki.
Fast Stealth (Ex): This ability allows a rogue to move at full speed using the Stealth skill without penalty.
Ledge Walker (Ex): This ability allows a rogue to move along narrow surfaces at full speed using the Acrobatics skill without penalty. In addition, a rogue with this talent is not flat-footed when using Acrobatics to move along narrow surfaces.
Rogue Crawl (Ex): While prone, a rogue with this ability can move at half speed. This movement provokes attacks of opportunity as normal. A rogue with this talent can take a 5-foot step while crawling.
Stand Up (Ex): A rogue with this ability can stand up from a prone position as a free action. This still provokes attacks of opportunity for standing up while threatened by a foe.
Improved Evasion
At 8th level, a Geisha's evasion improves. This ability works like evasion, except that while the Geisha still takes no damage on a successful Reflex saving throw against attacks, she henceforth takes only half damage on a failed save. A helpless geisha does not gain the benefit of improved evasion.
Masami Fuun (Graceful Misfortune)
At 9th level, the Geisha will always appear attractive, even if her appearance has been tarnished. For example, if her clothing gets ripped it will be in a flattering manner, while falling into mud will leave her looking commiserable rather than vile.
This power does not prevent the Geisha from being affected by any effects caused by the tarnishing, nor even prevent the tarnishing itself, it merely leaves her looking good despite of it.
Self Healing
At 9th level or higher, a Geisha can heal her own wounds as a standard action. She can heal 10 hitpoints per point of Ki spent.
<Scale on cha or wis, more interesting if immediate healing>
Timeless Body
At 10th level, a Geisha no longer takes penalties to her ability scores for aging and cannot be magically aged. Any such penalties that she has already taken, however, remain in place. Age bonuses still accrue, and the Geisha still dies of old age when her time is up.
