Differences on Ryutoku

Differences between by and the current version
The Ryutoku is a magical instrument that enhances the performances of the wielder. Allowing the wielder to turn any venue into a perfect one. Formerly the Ryutoku was used in rock caverns in the mountainous steppe regions. Here Kasumi obtained it from the wise old learned master Megujin for her aid in preventing two khans from declaring a war that would destroy the village of Megujin's birth. **Enhanced Acoustics:** The Ryutoku magically alters the sound played to perfectly fit the area, and even make it into a proper sound hall. Using this, any pub or field can be turned into a great opera hall. The user of this lute never receives negative circumstance penalties for performing in areas with bad acoustics. **Versatile tunes:** The Ryutoko can alter the tunes of its strings, allowing the wielder to perform tunes from different instruments and larger ranges of music. A bard that uses this instrument can use their bardic performance pool to also perform Posturing, Mockery and Subtle Overtones. In order to use a specific bardic performance the bard must have the level normally required. **Up to 11:** This lute goes loud! The user of the lute can play notes much more amplified than a normal lute should they so choose. Allowing for a more full range of expression, or to reach a larger audience, it can also be used to hype up listeners. Whenever the user of the lute uses a Bardic Performance that grants a competence bonus, the competence bonus granted to allies increases by 1. This benefit does not apply to spells that grant competence bonuses, nor does it stack with other item effects that increase competence bonuses. ---- Bardic Performances added ---- //Posturing// (Su): A bard 3rd level bard can enhance her natural body language to a level of peerless grace in order to enhance her social or physical abilities. While using this bardic performance she gets a +2 competence bonus on skill checks to impress and influence others. This bonus increases by 1 for every 4 bard levels the bard has beyond 3rd (+3 at 7th level, +4 at 11th level, +5 at 15th level, and +6 at 19th level). Exaggerated pose is an emotion effect and relies on visual components. ((Based around Exaggerated Pose from Masked Performer variant, Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Ultimate Intrigue.)) //Mockery// (Su): A bard of 3rd level or higher can subtly ridicule and defame a specific individual. By for example placing notes at the exact wrong times their smoothness is diminished. The bard selects one target who can hear his performance. That individual takes a –2 penalty on Charisma checks and Charisma-related skill checks when interacting with anyone at the social scene. Lasts for charisma modifier hours. This penalty increases by –1 every four levels after 3rd. Mockery is a language-dependent, mind-affecting ability that relies on audible components. //Subtle Overtones// (Su): A bard of 9th level or higher can use bardic performance to conceal the verbal and somatic effects of spellcasting. Observers must succeed at a Perception check opposed by a bard's Performance check to notice that the bard is the source of the spellcasting (though spellcasting still provokes attacks of opportunity as normal). The bard must use this performance for at least 2 rounds before casting a spell; otherwise he is automatically detected and the performance ends. ^^ Power ^^ Cost ^^ Multiplier ^^ Final Cost || || Subtle Overtones || 11.000 || x 100% || 8.250 || || Inspire Courage Buff || 10.000 || x 75% || 7.500 || || Mockery || 10.000 || x 50% || 5.000 || || Inspire Greatness Buff || 6.000 || x 50% || 3.000 || || Posturing || 4.800 || x 50% || 2.400 || || Inspire Competence Buff || 3.500 || x 50% || 1.750 || || Enhanced Acoustics: || ? 900 || x 100% || 900 || || Versatile tunes || ?
