Velika is the capital city of Niata. Ruled by King Tryphon, it for a time hosted [[Varvara]], [[Demetrios]] and [[Sotiria Kokkinos]]. [[Azizah]] and [[Sunset Water]] spend some time in the city before realizing that King Tryphon was hiding something of value that the could use to pressure [[King Herodotos]] of [[Neraida]]. After some investigating it was discovered that he was hiding the Kokkinos family, and the circle concocted a plot with King Herodotos to free them from their confinement so they couldn't be used to start the next bout of Thesian wars by destabilizing [[Paralia]]'s politics and [[Melitea]] along with it. The discovery that they were staying there entirely willingly caused that plot to fall apart rather rapidly.
