he Khawchaxlk are a near human species with chalk white skin and black markings. The black markings appear to be random. In general, the markings are black stripes which are most visible in the face, but they appear as shades as well. So far no genetic correlation has been found regarding the shapes and shades of the markings.

A Khawchaxlk is fully grown in 9 years, but mental development generally continues for another 20 years or so. Their lifespan is typically 50 to 60 years, but a rare individual is documented to have become over 85.

They are skinny and nimble, with a typical height of 1.5m making them not very strong but good at acrobatics and hard to catch.
