Humans are a bipedal mammalian species with smooth skins and no natural weapons. They come in a wide range of colours and their fur, which is primarily limited to their heads, can grow to great lengths over time and many humans cut it in various shapes as a fashion statement.

Humans are amongst the fastest reproducing and evolving sentient species and are found throughout the galaxy. They have evolved countless sub-species on various planets and their genome seems exceptionally well suited to interbreeding with other species, leading to many hybrid species.

Scientists believe the human genome may have evolved to be exceptionally flexible both in taking new evolutionary paths and mixing with other sentient species due to the widely varying conditions on their home planet, though this claim is impossible to verify as the human homeworld is unknown.
