The Jedi Temple is the main residence of the Jedi Order[[Jedi Order]]. It lies at the edge of [[Unity City]], still under the dome but some distance away from the city proper at the foot of a hill dubbed the 'ancient hill' for the [[Milac]] ruins. The temple was originally constructed before the [[Times of Chaos]] and was reclaimed a few decades ago. The main building is a large stone ziggurat-like structure with wings on the northern and eastern side. Some parts of the main structure are closed off as the structural integrity of the area cannot be guaranteed. ==== Location ==== The temple itself reuses several facilities from an old archeological dig from before the [[Times of Chaos]] with new facilities built as an extension upon those. The main building is set on the side of a large stone building consisting of a central ziggurat like structure with wingshill at the outer bounds of [[Unity City]]. There are [[Milac]] ruins nearby, and Jedi sometimes go there to spend time on the northern and eastern side. The eastern wing features the Jedi Living quarters where the Jedi have their rooms, while the northern wing features support facilities like the kitchens, a basic workshop and a simple med bay. The central ziggurat features the great hall - used for general assemblies, the council chambers where the council meets, several class rooms and a meditation area. There is also a study area near the great hall. ==== Other Structures ==== Several other structureown. The ruins are located in the areanot officially part of the Jedi Temple. ---- The Outhouse ---- The outhouse is a storage shed from before the times of chaos that was found remarkably intact. It is used for various extra-curricular activities and has been used in the past as a room to practice for a play, for arts and craft projects and as a gym room for special training. ---- Hangar ---- A hangar bay which doubles as a garage was constructed at the site to house the Jedi Order==== Area's ships and vehicles, which so far consist of the [[Alula]] and a four person landspeeder which is used to travel to and from the city proper. ---- Garden ---- A small garden is maintained on the south side of the temple with trees, hedges and flowers that bloom in many colours throughout the year despite the low light conditions. A fountain forms its center piece. The garden is maintained by the Jedi Initiates under the guidance of their teachers and incidentally it is not uncommon to find them playing various games there. ---- Sparring Ground ---- The sparring ground is essentially a rectangular open field between the remnants of several old stone walls. The ground is made of flat stones with some small plants growing in the cracks and a thin layer of sand scattered about.
