Differences on Padawan Avitus
Avitus hails from a family of tenant farmers on Iskandea. He lived in these though circumstances for a large part of his youth untill it was discovered that he had an aptitude for the force.
Upon this discovery, he was promptly adopted into the important aristocratic family of the Arvini, who attempted to teach Avitus some manners, culture and sense of importance before handing him over to the Jedi order by the time he became a teenager.
Avitus has been learning in the Jedi order for some years now, growing and learning about the philosophies of the Jedi. Though he tries to understand, he still takes a somewhat simplistic view of the world.
Being raised in the culture of the republic, Avitus holds certain values to be self evident, such as self sacrifice, dignity and respect for elders. If other cultures happen to not share these values, then that is a failing of those cultures.
Both his birth parents still live on their farm, and he is still very fond of them. His adoptive parents live in the capital for most of the year, though this is more of a respected elder relationship.
