There are innumerably many languages, even if only counting the known parts of the galaxy. However, there is one langauge that is spoken almost everywhere: Galactic Basic.

Galactic basic is spoken by practically all merchants, local policitians, military personnel, and everyone else on a civilized world. Even on worlds where another language is considered the primary language, almost everyone living in a city knows galactic basic as a secondary language.

Ryl is often spoken as a primary or secondary language by Twi'lek, it features intricate movements of the lekku as part of the language, making it difficult for non-Twi'lek to become fully fluent.
