The Sangkmhpa Mí are a society of forest villages spread across the forests of Dawkeraah. They live mostly isolated lives. Both from the universe as well from the other villages. The villages themselves from tight bonds though, with strong relationships and a great sense of groupthingy. Most of their culture revolves around old remnant pieces of jedi knowledge about the force. Eons ago, jedi established temples on the planet. In time due to reasons unknown the jedi disappeared or abandoned the planet temples, but their old teachings remained. Now the People from the Sangkmhpa Mí teach each other the old lessons from the jedi and try to live as close to the force as possible, although over time, due to the lack of actual jedi, many lessons might have been slowly shifted away from their original teachings.
In a village, the most important person is the eldest person, the Kèa Thisud. He or She has the most experience and therefore he teaches many lessons and gives direction to the course of the village.
An important part of the Sangk religion, is the maintenance and reverence of the old jedi temples. Entering a temple is an important aspect of the coming of age rituals. The young adult is given special mushrooms and hallucinating inducing tea and upon entering the temple he can experience all kinds of experiences, which are believed to be a display of person his destiny.
