Main residence of the Jedi Order
Table of Contents
The Jedi Temple is the main residence of the Jedi Order. It lies at the edge of Unity City, still under the dome but some distance away from the city proper at the foot of a hill dubbed the 'ancient hill' for the Milac ruins.
The temple was originally constructed before the Times Of Chaos and was reclaimed a few decades ago. The main building is a large stone ziggurat-like structure with wings on the northern and eastern side.
The eastern wing features the Jedi Living quarters where the Jedi have their rooms, while the northern wing features support facilities like the kitchens, a basic workshop and a simple med bay.
The central ziggurat features the great hall - used for general assemblies, the council chambers where the council meets, several class rooms and a meditation area. There is also a study area near the great hall.
Some parts of the main structure are closed off as the structural integrity of the area cannot be guaranteed.
Other Structures
Several other structures are located in the area of the Jedi Temple.
The Outhouse
The outhouse is a storage shed from before the times of chaos that was found remarkably intact. It is used for various extra-curricular activities and has been used in the past as a room to practice for a play, for arts and craft projects and as a gym room for special training.
Hangar
A hangar bay is a newly built building which doubles as a garage. It houses the Jedi Order's ships and vehicles. The Alula is the order's only space ship, but they also have a four person landspeeder which is used to travel to and from the city proper and a hoversled which is used to carry heavy loads around the temple easily.

The Obelisk
A large stone obelisk stands outside the temple at the main entrance. On it, the names and a short story of the Jedi who fell in the service of the temple are inscribed. At the top are the names of Jedi who served before the Times of Chaos, and several names of those who died in the past decades are listed below. The obelisk is considered sacred by most Jedi and they act respectful around it.
Sparring Ground
The sparring ground is essentially a rectangular open field between the remnants of several old stone walls. The ground is made of flat stones with some small plants growing in the cracks and a thin layer of sand scattered about. It is often used by the Jedi to practice lightsaber kata's and other lightsaber training.
An unwritten rule is that if two or more Jedi are engaged in a sparring match, other Jedi do not use the sparring ground until they are done.
Ruins
The remnants of several ancient Milac buildings are set on the ancient hill and Jedi sometimes go there to spend time on their own. They are not officially part of the Jedi Temple.
