A Droid is an autonomous mobile device that can operate on it's own for long periods of time. Most droids are built for a specific purpose. Droids have limited intelligence, and run on rechargable battery packs that can be charged in most spaceships or from common power grids.

• The Jedi can take a single droid with them in the mission, which was built with a specific purpose.
