Differences on Jedi Padawan

Differences between by and the current version
Also known as padawan learners, are deemed sufficiently trained and have enough knowledge of the world to be sent on minor missions without supervision. They still continue training under a formal [[apprentices|master-apprentice]] bond. This is the highest rank a player character can start at. //See the [[setting/Jedi Padawan|setting info on Jedi Padawan →]]// **Starting Training** When starting at the Padawan rank, the characters starts with 50 training points. Padawan must purchase at least one step in the [[Shii-Cho]] combat style, and at least one [[skill]]. Furthermore, a starting padawan character must move a single virtue point to a Light [[Virtue]]. **Benefits** Can go on some missions unsupervised. Can be [[apprentices|apprenticed]] to a [[Jedi Knight]] or [[Jedi Master]]. May determine their own training, and has access to a wide range of training opportunities arranged by the [[Jedi Order]], both inside and outside of the Jedi Temple, i.e., they have access to most [[Skill]] training, and can learn [[Force Powers]] and [[Combat Styles]] known within the Order and deemed appropriate for Padawan. **Duties** Padawan are expected to behave in a manner reflecting positively on their master, to obey all Jedi Masters and Jedi Knights. Furthermore, they are expected to contribute to the overall improvement of the Jedi Order, and to perform those tasks the Jedi Council sets them on, even if this goes against their personal wishes. Above all, the Padawan is expected to learn and develop their understanding of the Jedi Code and the light virtues. **Advancement** To be promoted to the rank of [[Jedi Knight]], a padawan learner must be proposed as a candidate for promotion by their [[apprentices|master]] when they deem their apprentice ready. If the council agrees with the judgement of the padawan's master, the Padawan learner is called before the council to declare which [[Force Philosophy|philosophy]] they follow. This philosophy must be chosen from the accepted philosophies within the Jedi Order or it must be the teachings of their master, and the padawan's virtue distribution must match the philosophy's major virtues. If the padawan has more than one-fifth of their virtue points in Dark virtues, they will not be allowed to promote. The padawan must also have gained at least 100 training points in total. The Council will then determine an appropriate [[Knight's Trial]] for them. This is a mission they must go on alone. Only after succesfully completing the trial will they be promoted to the rank of Jedi Knight. Upon promotion all ten of the characters [[virtues]] are increased by one virtue point (putting the total number of virtue points for Jedi Knights at 25).
