Differences on Training Point (was Training Points)

Differences between by and the current version
Jedi characters improve over time. They do so through deliberate training on specific fields, be they the practicing of [[skills]], meditations on [[force powers]], or sparring matches to practice [[combat styles]]. Each achievement is the culmination of mental and physical training and conditioning. To track a Jedi's training we use Training Points. After each mission, a Jedi player is awarded +5 Training Points. They might get more if they are an [[apprentice]], or have apprentices. These Training Points can be spent on specific training goals. Jedi can train Skills, Force Powers, and Combat Styles. Only Force Powers and Combat Styles known to the Jedi Order can be trained. And some skills will also be limited until a instructor can be found willing to teach at the Order. Once a Jedi has saved up enough training points, they can spend them. Each training costs 10 Training Points, regardless of the type of training (be it a [[skill]], [[force power]] or [[combat style]] step). //[[Jedi Character Creation]]: The amount of starting [[Training Points]] varies per character!// ==== Training Point costs ==== The following is a short list of the costs of each type of training: * Each kind of training ([[Skill]], [[Force Power]], or [[Combat Style]]) cost 10 training points. ==== Training Facilities ==== Some improvements to the Jedi Order will give "free Training Points" for specific kinds of training. These are usually facilities, but such a facility might have additional requirements such as there being [[Jedi Master]] that can give instructions. For example, if Unity City is enhanced with the hypothetical orbital docking platforms, the Jedi Order gains a Zero-G Training Area. This upgrade pays for 2 of the needed 10 Training Points for [[Zero-G Mobility]]. So, if a Jedi player wishes to learn [[Zero-G Mobility]], spending 8 Training Points will cover the cost of the 10 needed points, since the Zero-G Training Area will provide the other 2 needed points. Applicable training facilities are listed on the [[Jedi Training Availability]] page.
