Differences on Species

Differences between by and the current version
In biology, a species is the basic unit of classification and a taxonomic rank, as well as a unit of biodiversity. It has proven difficult to find a satisfactory definition. In the context of the game, a species is a group of individuals that shares the same set of [[species traits]]. Each species has at most two such Species Traits. //See also the [[setting/species|list of species in the setting →]]// ==== Designing new Species ==== Designing a new species gives you the option of having your own custom species in the game. To propose your own species: - **Description** \\ Write a description of their biology, including things like lifespan, native environment, and general appearance. - **Select [[Species Traits]]Species Traits** \\ Select at most 2 species[[species traits]] from the list of traits from the list of(or propose your own). Selecting less than 2 traits (or propose your own)is also an good option, since jedi get more [[jedi character creation|starting training points]] with less traits. - **Get Approval** \\ Post the species on the [[forum/System andGame Questions & Character Building]] forum for approval! Note that "species" and "culture" are two separate things. While qualities of thea species might influence cultures largely consisting of individuals from that species, we try to keep them separate, which leads to a more breathinteresting and believable game world!
