Differences on Jedi Initiate

Differences between by and the current version
The lowest [[jedi advancement|jedi rank]], Initiates are the younglings and those that are still training to master the basic skills and techniques. //See the [[setting/Jedi initiate|setting info on Jedi Initiates →]]// **Starting Training** The initiate can start with at most 30 training points. If the player desires, they may start with less training points. Normally, they do not start with any lightsaber combat styles, nor any advanced skills or force powers. **Benefits** Will generally be cared for, and has great opportunities to socialize with other initiates, to play and to learn under the supervision of a responsible adult. They can also expect to be taken on exciting field trips. Duties**Duties** Initiates are expected to do their best to learn, and to perform the chores and tasks assigned to them. **Advancement** To be promoted to the rank of [[Padawan]], an initiate must be deemed sufficiently developed by their teachers and the Jedi council. To be deemed such the initiate must have mastered the first step of the [[Shii-Cho]] combat style, learned at least one [[skill]], and have gained at least 50 [[training points]] in total. Furthermore, they must have been on a "mission" after which they have shifted a Virtue Point to a Light Virtue (this models that they have gained sufficient understanding of morality to let it affect their behaviour). Note that Jedi do not learn how to make lightsabers as part of their normal training, so construction of a lightsaber is not a requirement for advancement.
