Emberfall Outpost

Description

Built atop a geothermal fissure on the tundra’s southern edge, Emberfall Outpost is a dwarven settlement that extracts heat and minerals from the earth. The outpost is surrounded by steam vents and sulfur pools, creating an otherworldly contrast against the icy plains. Unlike Frostwatch, Emberfall is not heavily fortified but relies on its remote location and the natural heat of the fissure to deter frost creatures.

Emberfall serves as a crucial hub for resource collection, providing frostforged steel components and rare minerals to Ironhearth. It is also a gathering point for nomadic clans, who trade pelts, food, and artifacts in exchange for tools and supplies. The outpost’s dwarven engineers use ingenious geothermal devices to heat the settlement, making it one of the few places in the tundra where comfort can be found.
