After losing his family to an Abyssal incursion, Kaelen abandoned his home and forged a new path as a mercenary.

Over time, Kaelen amassed a following of like-minded warriors, forming the Frost Reavers, a mercenary company that became infamous for its brutal efficiency and unyielding tactics. The group quickly gained notoriety for taking on impossible missions, including hunting Frost Giants and battling Abyssal creatures.

Kaelen’s rise to power was cemented when he claimed Icebane from the corpse of a Frost Giant chieftain. The weapon, imbued with ancient magic, has since become his symbol of dominance and a source of his legend.
