Snowdrop entertains

No tags

In order to help raise morale, Snowdrop puts on a show at the tramway terminus for the dwarven workers. And since they have access to geothermal energy, it is actually warm enough for Snowdrop to wear her new entertainer's outfits, a sparkly silver one piece that covers her torso and arms, and a bright yellow two piece that just covers her breasts and hips.

Wearing the silver, she starts off with floor based acrobatic moves before flying between two hanging cables usually used for lifting heavy objects.

She followed up with some simple escapes from manacles and chain before changing to the yellow, allowing herself to be tied with rope hand and foot before being secured inside a full barrel of water. Because the barrel wasn't transparent, she then repeated the stunt, but outside the barrel so people could actually see her escape.

She took no money for this, her only fee being a mug of the dwarves finest ale, but a collection box was set up for charitable donations to bring cheer to the poor.

It just happens to be one of the times Jaeson was helping with the architecture of the tunnels when Snowdrop puts on her show. He stays nearer the back to make sure he is not interfering with anyone's view but applauds along with the dwarven men and women of the underground tram construction effort as she performs her stunts.

There are mutters at first when she performs inside the barrel that it was somehow staged... but those mutters end when she repeats the escape outside of the barrel. Jaeson applauds along with the others loudly as Snowdrop finishes her act and leaves some coin in the collection box, before returning to the work at hand - the structural integrity of the tram passageway.

Skaggi had notified the crew that there would be entertainment. Morale had been flagging, and this was a welcome distraction from the grueling work shifts, and they took to it with enthusiasm.

Collections were made for the charities collecting for the victims of the attacks, and Skaggi made sure the provided mug of ale was the Good Shit.
