Street informant

Type: Kine

Len is a reputable street informant in New York City. People might call him Lenny, Leonard, Leo or other similar names as well, but his real name or last name aren't known to many. He can often be found working a newsstand near a southern entrance to Central Park, though he might be at any of the other places his people run as well if the situation calls for it.

He controls a good number of newsstands and foodstands where his people provide information on who's up to what, if you know where to find them (those in the know can recognize his markings.) He specializes mostly in information on small gangs or notable independent criminals, police activity and other notable activity on the streets, which he shares with or sells to members of a few crime families. Several runners and taxi drivers move information, goods and people around for him as well. He often arranges work on the streets as well, especially when the families don't want to be directly tied to such work.

He likes to run a tidy and reputable business and prefers to steer people he associates with away from wanton violence, but cross him or get on his bad side and you might get pulled into an alley at some point regardless. He often gladly shares some free intel with people who "clean up" the streets.
