As the son of an African immigrant family, Kwesi did not have an easy life in New York in his younger days. He worked as a cleaner, and at some point was wrongfully accused of stealing from one of his clients' homes. Some shady folks were willing to make his problems go away though if he could assist them with some jobs.

Turns out, when not being wrongfully accused of crimes, people actually pay very little attention to black people cleaning, and as such Kwesi's cleaning company took off, and he never stopped providing its assistance to various criminal enterprises.

Today, Kwesi is one of the older, more experienced fixers in New York. Within his network, other fixers still often rely on his assistance when fixing particularly large messes. He literally cleans the house and takes out the garbage.
