Lady Aisling Sturbridge is the [[High Regent]] of the [[Chantry of the Five Boroughs]]. She expects everyone in her chantry to adhere to the proper conduct and manners as they ought to be in civil society – with “civil society” in this case being the conduct common in upper-class victorian society. Those that have observed Lady Sturbridge for more than a few days quickly conclude that her hair has a different colour each day. A fact that Lady Aisling has long since accepted, and tries to keep as proper as possible by wearing lipstick to match.
