Differences on Clan Ventrue

Differences between by and the current version
Members of clan Ventrue feel that one's bloodline is of paramount importance, and assign great importance to one's ancestry. Its members work hard to maintain a reputation for honor, genteel behavior, and leadership. A sense of noblesse oblige pervades the clan, often accompanied by the belief that the Ventrue know what is best for everyone. ---- Board Meetings ---- The clan members in a city meet once a month in a formal manner. In modern nights, these gatherings are called "board meetings". Before a meeting an agenda is announced, and the meeting proceeds as one would expect from a formal meeting. Depending on the city's history and established local traditions neonates of the clan are usually expected to observe in silence, or at least respect the order of precedence when wishing to weigh in on a matter on the agenda. When certain points require something to be accomplished, it is often these same neonates that will be volunteered for the task—which might turn out to be an opportunity to improve their reputation, or a menial task they feel is below their station. It is expected that all clan members attend board meetings. Two exceptions are usually made: those in the upper echelons of the clan often take some liberty in sendind a proxy in their stead, and those that are otherwise engaged by higher-ranking clan members are often excused from board meetings. ==== Notable members: ==== [show] Person: Clan [[Clan Ventrue]] [/show]
